Transitions (Farwell) July 24, 2005

A person should walk in dignity and integrity:

As one who is responsible and takes responsibility,

As one who chooses the difficult path over the path that is easy.

Choosing the path of growth

over the comfort of stagnation;

And measured danger over fearful safety.

A person should walk in dignity and integrity

Growing the soul not the reputation

 Seeking the uncomfortable glare of truth

over the shelter of deception,

Embarrassed honesty over the easy lie.

May we always walk in dignity and integrity.
